Cathedral Choir Royal Charter Service
On 6 June, the Cathedral Choir had the honour of singing for the service at which the Worshipful Livery Company of Wales received its Royal Charter, at St John’s Church in the city centre. A leading member of the National Livery Guild wrote: ”May I congratulate the Metropolitan Cathedral Choir for a superb choral event.”
The choristers are also looking forward to performing with the Philadelphia Boys Choir at Hoddinott Hall, on Tuesday 15 July at 7.30pm. Families from St John’s College are warmly invited to attend this concert at Wales Millennium Centre. The boy and girl choristers will also be singing with Llandaff Cathedral Choral Society in two concerts in Belgium: Vivaldi Gloria at Ghent Cathedral on Sat 19 July, and music by Haydn and Monteverdi at Bruges Cathedral on Sun 20 July.
