Friday 20th March, saw pupils in the Junior School excitedly experience the Solar Eclipse. Pupils were able to watch the live feed on the interactive whiteboards. They were then taken to a safe area outside where they could not directly view the eclipse but could experience other changes such as the darker sky, the colder temperature and the eerie quiet due to the lack of birdsong. The Headmaster explained the process of the sun, moon and earth’s alignment via role play with each class.
