L6th History Research Skills Trip (USW)
On Wednesday 24 June, our L6th History students enjoyed a trip to University of South Wales, Pontypridd to take part in a research skills ‘Taster Day’. Classes were led by leading academics in their fields and were specifically tailored to equipping our sixth formers with the skills required to locate and evaluate sources. These skills will be especially helpful for their forthcoming HY3 coursework on revolutionary France.
We are very grateful to Dr Jane Finucane, Dr Rachel Lock-Lewis and to the University of South Wales for generously offering such an invaluable event for our students.
Mr J. Neville
