PSE Careers Project
The R15 pupils have been working on their Careers Game project. The main aim is to help R15 students become aware of their own money habits and consider the differences between wants and needs.
Students will be exploring life skills by completing weekly tasks such as: job roles, rent, council tax, costings of a weekly shop, house prices, transport costs, budgeting for holidays and much more.
R15 students have commented the following about the experience:
“It’s been eye opening to the bigger picture of the real world”
“Budgeting the weekly spend has been interesting”
“Awareness of limited budget, and understanding of not overspending”
“Realistic life skills”
A big thank you to Mr Tertois for his help with the delivery of the project.
