Week Beginning 7th November 2016

Hockey News

There were 24 players in training this week which is outstanding.  The young players are beginning to demonstrate their learning through effective match play.  There was a fantastic atmosphere at Cardiff Met.  The players, coaches and teachers were training to music which had them all really enthused.

Rugby News

On Wednesday afternoon, the R11 Rugby team were involved in a WRU Pathways tournament at Llandaff Cathedral School. St John’s had two teams, both of whom played outstandingly and produced some fantastic team performances. Congratulations to all involved.  Mr Tertois

Football News

On Monday afternoon the R12 mixed Football team were involved in a fixture vs. St Teilo’s B and produced an emphatic 4-0 win. Goals were scored by J Palfrey (2), C Capatana and K Mohanty. Congratulations to all involved Mr Tertois.

On Thursday afternoon the R15 Football team were involved in a Football fixture against St Teilo’s B. All involved played fantastically well and produced some excellent passages of play. St Teilo’s ended up winning 3-1 congratulations to all involved.  Mr Tertois

Netball News

The R15 netball team played Eastern High last night. There was dominant play by both teams with SJC demonstrating outstanding defensive skills.  The result was close 6-4 to Eastern High. Congratulations to Niamh F who achieved player of the match.

Table Tennis News

Table tennis continues to be a thriving success at SJC. Well done to all players who attend the club every week.
