Oxford Union Schools Debating Competition
On Wednesday 1 February, six of our L6th students took part in the prestigious Oxford Union Schools Debating Competition. The evening comprised two motions on whether athletes should only compete for their country of birth and whether limitations should be placed on social media content. Our three teams performed very well, gaining high positions against more than a dozen schools from across South Wales, but missed out to the overall winners. The sixth formers all gained a great deal from the experience.
