R10 Cog Waterworks Trip
R10 went to the Cog Waterworks on 12th October as part of their Geography topic about water. We were very impressed and proud with the pupils exceptional behaviour which was commented on by The Cog Waterworks team. They enthusiastically answered questions and showed their prior knowledge of the topic of water and water treatment.
The children had the opportunity to have a very detailed and smelly tour of the waterworks. They got to see first hand how water is treated before it comes out of our taps at home and school.
The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the numerous processes to treat water. They particularly enjoyed the practical classroom based activities about what we should be flushing away.
