R10 Parents’ Assembly
This was our first ‘new style’ parents’ assembly. We have moved them to the morning so that parents can enjoy refreshments, meet Mrs Thompson and mingle with the R11 and sixth Form Prefects. R10 performed an informative and entertaining assembly about ‘Water’, combining information about their recent trip to the Cog Waste Water Treatment Centre with survival skills learnt from an earlier trip to Oxwich Bay. The pupils described how vital water is for survival and the process of cleaning our waste water. The water cycle was also illustrated through the ‘The Water Cycle Song’, ably accompanied by R10 musicians and through their own poems and riddles all about water. They were word perfect and comedic timing was professional. Parents should be very proud of their R10 children.
