Latest from R6 and R7

R6 brought in a favourite toy to present to the class. We had some cuddly bears, plastic figures and a large remote controlled car from Ava that could do some sharp turns! All the children spoke beautifully and answered questions from their peers.
R6 have also been learning about The Arctic, the animals that live there and the lives of The Inuits. They created and labelled their classroom ‘Arctic’ using large ice blocks and smaller ice cubes. Lots of cold fun! Well done R6!
R7 pupils are grouping the toys depending on the forces used to make them move. As part of their study of China in Geography, they have been finding out about growing rice. They are trying to see how many Lego blocks they can move in one minute using the chopsticks.
