R5 have been adding and subtracting with multiples of ten this week. They all worked very hard and their counting really improved.
In Geography, we looked at pictures of Cardiff to discover what people need in a city. Later Connor and Bethan made a skyscraper, they realised that the base needed to be larger to stop it falling over.
As R5 have written about the different senses this week, we decided to have a tasting session. The children closed their eyes so they didn’t know which food they were trying. The children had to guess the food and describe the flavour. They also decided if they liked it. The flavours included caramel, salt and vinegar, banana and pineapple.
