    The nursery children have had a fun packed Friday. The day began with Noah’s Ark rainbow PE. The children practised their skills of going over and under the rainbow stripes, they tried hard with their throwing and catching skills using rainbow scarves.     Congratulations to the Sixth form pupils who completed their Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award qualifying three-day expedition, successfully walking from Llanthony Priory to the Talybont Reservoir in the Brecon Beacons. Mr Evans and Miss Thomas were delighted to see the pupils using accurate map reading skills and being able to use the compass effectively to confirm bearings on the map.…

    St John’s College Religious Studies (RS) department was delighted that pupils Jacob V, Catrin D (both R16) and Alessia M (L6) were able to attend the Catholic Church in England and Wales “Adoremus: National Eucharistic Pilgrimage & Congress” on the 8th September in Liverpool. Alongside His Grace, the Most Reverend George Stack, Archbishop of Cardiff and Canon Peter Collins, the Dean of Cardiff Metropolitan Cathedral; plus over a hundred local Catholics, representing schools and parishes throughout the Cardiff Diocese, the students set off on a very early start to the Liverpool Echo Arena.  …
