    All the children have had a lovely day raising money for Children in Need. As well as the whole school cake sale and Bake Off, the Juniors held a sponsored star jump during morning break. As you can see from the photograph everyone had a brilliant time! In the Juniors alone we raised £380 from your sponsorship money and your donations for wearing something spotty.…

    In Forest School we worked in groups building a home for a hedgehog. The children had to think about camouflage, the size of their hedgehog and protection from the elements. In Maths we have been learning about months of the year and seasons. The children put the months into the correct order.…

  • R12 Residential Visit to Llangrannog

    13 November 2018

    Last week, fifty R12 pupils departed St John’s for an exhilarating stay at Llangranog Urdd camp. Activities included skiing, tobogganing, quads, zip wire, trampolining, horse riding and the best bit – the disco! They immersed themselves in the Welsh language and got to know one another that much better by developing their teamwork, problem-solving and communication skills.…

We have made snakes in the creative alphabet, had fun playing the Silly sock game, listening to Jolly phonics and writing correctly.
