    The nursery children have been learning the letter sound f and exploring facts about jellyfish. We made jellyfish out of recycled plastic, made watermelon jellyfish in cooking and made a huge jellyfish in forest school. The children also had lots of fun climbing trees!…

    R5 visited Porthkerry Country Park on Wednesday. Our first activity was pond dipping. The children used nets to catch tadpoles and water snails. They learnt how to handle these tiny creatures and returned them safely to the pond at the end. The children thoroughly enjoyed this activity and we were so pleased with how well they behaved.…

    Congratulations to Oliver G for his recent hockey success. His Whitchurch club team are the Welsh U13 Champions for 2019. The U13s team won the South Wales cup on the 6th April, beating off strong competition from Penarth, Swansea and Gwent. This put Whitchurch and Penarth through to the Welsh final which was held in Newtown on Sunday 28th April.…
