This week we went to visit Thornhill Farm to buy a Christmas tree, saw a production of The Ugly Duckling at the Sherman Theatre and visited St Cadoc’s church to take part in our annual Tableau service.     Thank you to all the parents and family who attended our annual Advent Service and Tableau at Saint Cadoc’s church. The children rose to the occasion with delightful singing and the R6 children read beautifully. Nursery charmed everyone with their ‘candlelight procession’. The R5 children, with help from Aaradhya, Jasmine and Kieran, created the Nativity scene with narration from Emily.…

    The nursery children had an exciting morning visiting the Thornhill Farm to buy a Christmas tree. We saw the animals; donkeys, sheep, pigs, cows, chickens and alpacas. Farmer Phillips helped us choose our tree and we had fun singing Christmas songs on the bus back to school.…

    Friday 29th November saw R10 perform their wonderful assembly ‘Inspired by Writers’ to a library full of parents and other family members. Some pupils read out examples of their Shark stories, whilst others presented their descriptive sentences and celebrated their love of writing!  As part of R10’s studies this term they have been reading the story of Kensuke’s Kingdom.…
