R13 Netball Tournament
Eleven R13 pupils were chosen to represent St John’s College in the Sport Cardiff year eight netball tournament. The first game for our R13 girls was against Bro Edern, unfortunately the pupils lost by one goal. Once the squad got into a positive mindset they went onto winning their next four games against Cathays, St Cyres, St Teilos and Llantwit Major. It was an excellent afternoon of netball with the pupils displaying fantastic interceptions and great shooting. The pupils went on to qualifying for the semi-finals. The pupils lost both games by one goal. The pupils came fourth in the tournament. Well done to all players involved an exciting afternoon of netball. Congratulations to Emily S who was nominated player of the tournament by her peers. Miss Thomas
