Stormbreaker Junior Book Club
Book Club members were gripped by Anthony Horowitz’s action packed adventure about teenage spy, Alex Rider. Many members went on to read other texts in the popular Alex Rider series. Congratulations to all who took part in a closely contested quiz and especially to the winners, team Mostyn 2.

The next Book Club texts, both set in the summer holidays, are written by award winning authors:
Frozen in Time by Ali Sparkes (aimed at older readers)
or
The Legend of Spud Murphy by Eoin Colfer (suitable for all)
Both texts provide unexpected summer adventures, humour and touching insights. Can Polly and Freddy, frozen in 1955, adapt to the twenty-first century? Can Will and Marty evade the librarian’s legendary gas-powered spud gun and discover a love of books?
The next Junior Book Clubs will be held in September. All those who have read a text, had it read to them or have listened to the audio book are welcome to attend.
