R7 news
The R7s have been using conkers to measure the playground. They used 820 conkers to reach from the R7 classroom to the gate. They grouped the conkers into tens to make it easier to count.
They then had fun playing Conkers on the lawn in the sunshine. There were lots of shouts of ‘Snags!’ and ‘Stamps!’ but all of the conkers remained intact!
The children have also been preparing for the Remembrance Day assembly and have been making giant poppies from old records. They have been using an old gramophone player and listening to the old records.
