    R11 celebrated their last day in the Junior School with a visit to Noah’s Ark  Zoo Farm.  It is a hands-on zoo and working farm just outside Bristol set in over 100 acres of beautiful countryside.   • R14 Debaters Attend ‘Make Your Mark’ Grand Council at City Hall

    On Wednesday 6 July, members of the Senior Debating Society were invited to take part in the Young People’s Grand Council at Cardiff City Hall as part of the ‘Make Your Mark – A Call to Action‘ UK Youth Parliament initiative. Issues proposed at today’s event will then be debated by Members of Youth Parliament in the House of Commons in November who vote to set national priorities and campaigns for the coming year.…

    In Junior Latin Club this year we have been exploring daily life for Roman citizens. We have learned about Roman bath buildings and bathing rituals, gladiatorial shows, the layout of a Roman house, shopping in the Roman market, dinner parties, the army, weapons and military tactics.  We have also learned a few simple Latin words and phrases to help us prepare for Latin lessons in senior school.…

    On Friday 1st July we held our annual Senior Sports Day. The pupils competed in a number of traditional athletic events. Throughout the day the level of sportsmanship on show was outstanding. All pupils give 100% and can be very proud of themselves. The tug of war proved to be one of the most popular events as always, with pupils battling to earn points for their house.…
