    On 19th September, R10 went on a trip to the Gower to learn about how to survive on a desert island. In English they have been reading Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo where the main character, Michael, is ship-wrecked onto a deserted island without any belongings.  R10 learnt about the importance of shelter and water, then in groups built shelters and a solar still. …
