We have had a fantastic week in R5! On Monday 19th May, we went to Roath Fire Station and met with Red Watch.

Fire Officers Oscar and Ben showed the children the fire truck, the special equipment for cutting through metal, the many different hoses and the inside of the station. R5 used the hose to spray water in the car park. The children met Chef Phil, who was cooking lunch and went inside the kit room.

Before leaving, Fire Officer Oscar switched on the siren, which was very loud!
