On Thursday, 2nd October, over 80 excited pupils and staff embarked on an unforgettable trip to London to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre. The day was a perfect blend of friendship, inspiration, and musical magic.
The group set off in high spirits, stopping en route for a hearty lunch before heading into the West End. Once inside the iconic theatre, the atmosphere was electric, and from the opening moments to the final curtain, the cast’s breathtaking performance held everyone spellbound.
For many pupils, it was their first time seeing a professional West End production, and the experience proved truly inspiring. The emotion, talent, and energy on stage have fuelled excitement and ambition for our own upcoming production in February.
The journey home was filled with enthusiastic chatter and plenty of singing! The coach was alive with music and laughter, capturing the spirit of the day perfectly.
A huge thank you goes to all staff, organisers, and pupils for making the trip such a memorable success. Your energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork made it a truly special experience for everyone involved.
With spirits high and inspiration flowing, we can’t wait to see what magic our talented cast will bring to the stage in February. Tickets for our school production will go on sale just after half-term, so don’t miss out!
